Event Staff
Want to enjoy the party instead of standing guard at the bounce house? Add event staff when you check out, and a Shindigz staff member watches each inflatable for you.
Every inflatable needs an adult watching it the whole time it’s in use. That’s in our rules and rental agreement, and it’s usually a parent who ends up missing the cake. Our event staff take that job off your hands so you can be a guest at your own party.
What event staff cover
- Go over the rules with kids before they get on
- Keep the number and size of riders within the unit’s posted limit, and group little ones with little ones
- Run the line and take turns so everyone gets a fair go
- Keep shoes, food, drinks, candy, silly string, glasses, jewelry and sharp objects off the unit
- Stop flips, roughhousing, climbing and hanging on the walls or netting
- Keep the area around the unit clear, and keep pets away
- Keep an eye on the blower and anchors, and get everyone off right away if the blower stops or the unit starts to go down
- Watch the weather and clear the unit if the wind picks up, it starts storming, or there’s lightning
One staff member for each inflatable
You can book fewer staff than you have inflatables. If you do, an adult from your party watches the ones our staff aren’t on, the same as without staff. Checkout suggests the right number for the rentals in your cart.

- Coupons and the damage waiver apply to rentals only, not staffing.
Event staff questions
How many event staff do I need?
One per inflatable. Each bounce house, slide or obstacle course gets its own staff member, so three inflatables means three staff. Checkout suggests the right number for your cart.
Can I book fewer staff than inflatables?
Yes. An adult from your party then watches the inflatables our staff aren't on, the same as a rental without staff.
